All About Boats!
Our Philosophy
At Carefree Yachting, we strive for excellence in both the quality of our work and the level of service we provide. We believe these two go hand in hand—exceptional results mean little without a customer experience to match. That’s why we hold ourselves to the highest standards, not just in how your yacht looks, but in how you feel working with us.
We don’t aim to be just another company you hire—we aim to be a trusted partner. Our goal is to build genuine, long-lasting relationships with every client. By taking the time to understand your needs and consistently delivering dependable, high-quality service, we become someone you can rely on and feel comfortable having around your vessel.
We intentionally operate with a small, tight-knit team to ensure every project meets our highest standards. Rather than focusing on rapid growth or high volume, we prioritize craftsmanship, consistency, and attention to detail. For us, the relationship with our clients and the quality of our work will always come before scaling into a large operation.
We are also committed to using only the best products and proven techniques. We don’t cut corners when it comes to correcting or protecting your vessel. The right way is the only way—we believe in doing the job properly the first time, rather than rushing through it and having to redo it later. This approach not only saves time in the long run but ensures a higher-quality, longer-lasting result for your yacht.
After all, we’re working on one of your most valuable and prized possessions. Trust matters. We want you to feel confident knowing your yacht is in capable hands—maintained properly, protected from avoidable damage, and always ready for you to enjoy.
Our approach is rooted in making ownership easy and enjoyable. We help prevent the small issues that can turn into costly problems, ensuring your time on the water stays stress-free. Because at the end of the day, we don’t just maintain your boat—we want to help you continue enjoying it for years to come.
To us, our clients are more than customers—they’re relationships we value. And that’s what truly sets Carefree Yachting apart.
About the Owner
Boating has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. From a young age, I spent most of my free time on the water with my family—fishing, water skiing, wakeboarding, and, more often than not, getting thrown around on a tube. Looking back, I’m pretty sure my dad enjoyed watching me skip across the water more than I enjoyed the ride itself. Those experiences built a lifelong passion for being on the water and around boats.
After graduating high school, I knew the traditional college path wasn’t for me. Like many others, I went into the trades and started my own epoxy business. I was successful, and the financial side was rewarding, but it didn’t take long to realize that money alone isn’t enough. I wasn’t passionate about the work, and I found myself wanting more out of what I did every day.
What I did value during that time were the people I met. I enjoyed building relationships and getting to know my clients—but the nature of the work was fast-paced, and those connections were often short-lived. I wanted something more meaningful and long-lasting.
That opportunity came when I helped a family member sell a 47-foot sportfish. Working closely with the broker, I was able to apply my knowledge and passion for boats—and it didn’t go unnoticed. He offered me a position as a yacht salesman, and for me, it was an easy decision to leave behind something I didn’t love for something I truly cared about.
That experience ultimately led me to think bigger. I didn’t just want to be involved in boating—I wanted to create something of my own. A company where I could combine my passion for boats with my desire to build lasting relationships and provide real value to clients.
That’s how Carefree Yachting was born.
Today, I’ve built a business around something I genuinely love. It doesn’t feel like work—it’s something I take pride in every day. And more importantly, it allows me to connect with great people, care for their vessels, and be a part of the lifestyle that inspired it all.
